To provide you with credit assessments and related services, the App may collect the following types of information:

Personal Information

This may include your name, gender, phone number, PAN card, income details, and employment status. We will use this information to verify your identity, assess your creditworthiness, and fulfill regulatory obligations.

Device Information

We may obtain your device's model, operating system version, unique device identifier, network information (such as Wi-Fi information), and diagnostic data. This is used to optimize App performance, enhance account security, and detect abnormal activity.

SMS Permissions

With your explicit authorization, CreditMeter may access financial-related SMS messages on your device from the past 6 months, such as bank transaction notifications, payroll messages, and loan repayment reminders. Personal chats and non-financial text messages will not be accessed. This information will be used to support more accurate credit assessment reports.

SMS data will not be proactively shared with any third party. All data is encrypted during transmission and storage and securely uploaded to https://front.creditmeter.xyz. Text message data will be automatically deleted after the credit assessment is completed.

Camera Permissions

Used to take photos or scan identity documents (such as PAN cards) within the app for identity verification and credit checks.

Installed App Information

We may access a list of non-system apps installed on the device and their update history (excluding personal content) to assess financial behavior and improve the accuracy of credit analysis.

Approximate Location Information

Used only to determine service availability and eligibility; real-time location tracking is not performed, and information is collected only when the relevant function is enabled.

The information we collect is primarily used for the following purposes:

Providing, operating, and improving App functionality, including identity verification, credit scoring, and account management.

Enhancing account security through risk detection and preventing unauthorized access.

Optimize user experience by adjusting app functions and interface according to your needs.
